A giant leap begins with a single step.
That’s how RENCOR Refrigeration Equipment Corporation began in January 1985 when visionary entrepreneur-owner Engr. Arsenio A. Bea established 7-A Enterprises (the forerunner of Rencor) at a small shop in Barangay Barangka Itaas, Mandaluyong.
Then, in just over a year’s time, Engr. Bea’s larger-than-life dream of providing comfort and convenience nationwide expanded as his fledgling company began manufacturing air-conditioning and refrigeration coil, before advancing to fabrication of large air handling units, air-cooled condensers, shell and tube condensers, and other allied products.
Even as a new player in the air-condition and refrigeration, 7-A Enterprises managed to break through some of the top companies by supplying and installing pieces of equipment in the biggest onion cold storage in Davao City.
7-A Enterprises also provided top-notch services to such other companies like Philippine Far East Agro Products, Philippine Air Lines (PAL), Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC), Glorietta North Mall and Makati Quad Cinema, the 30-story IBM Plaza Building in Libis, Quezon City, along with meat processing plants of San Miguel Corporation, Jollibee and McDonald’s in San Fernando, Pampanga.
With such huge leap, 7-A Enterprises was eventually renamed RENCOR Refrigeration Equipment Corporation on November 2002 to give way to the extensive changes in system and organization as it seeks to provide higher quality of service to its ever-growing client. RENCOR’S name is derived from the nicknames of the founder Rene and Cora, wife of Mr. Bea.
Upon the passing of RENCOR founder Engr. Arsenio A. Bea, his wife Corazon O’S Bea took over along with their second eldest daughter, Engr. Archelle Bea-Baculi the daily management of the company.
Today, RENCOR strives to become one of the top 100 companies in the Philippine Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry.
